Forty Meters can be a haven from the heavy summer time static that invades 160 and 75 meter. This recording was made in mid-summer with thunderstorms roaming throughout the mid-Atlantic region. But the signal from Paul's Collins 300G broadcast transmitter is not affected. Only faint static crashes are heard in the background. |
