W8VYZ - Ashtabula Bill on 75 Meters, 1996
Bill is probably one of the most well known AMers in North America. He has single handedly put Ashtabula, Ohio on the map with the big AM signal he radiates on every band from 160 through 2 meters. Bill is a fixture on 40 meters and has been a regular for many years on the 20 meter AM Net on 14286 kHz. Many a slopbucket has tried to QRM Bill but they never could! |
