Bruce, KG2IC gives a description of the AM Special Event station at the Rochester, NY hamfest. The station was on the air 4-6 June 1999 and worked over 100 stations on 75 and 40 meters. As you can hear, the station put out a great signal. This 40 meter recording was made at Annapolis, MD by Paul, WA3VJB off the diode load output of a 1967 R-390A EAC with an 8 or 16 kc bandwidth, into a DAT machine, then dubbed to analogue hissette.
